June Charitable Organization of the Month

Extreme Surveillance supports charitable organizations and each month will feature a local nonprofit organization to help bring attention to the wonderful work they are doing. The Nonprofit Organization for June is Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue. Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits since 1986. They are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer domestic rabbit rescue organization and no-kill shelter, housing more than 100 rabbits at any time. Over the past twenty-one years they have placed over 2000 rabbits with caring, adoptive families. They work together with county agencies to check on abuse situations as well as offer humane traps to the general public to capture domestic stray rabbits. Rabbits make wonderful indoor companions! They are extremely smart, can be litterbox trained, can coexist happily with non-aggressive cats & dogs and can live 10 years or longer. As indoor companion animals, they provide affection and lots of laughs with their silly antics and curious nature. They are more social, healthier, and happier when they are spayed or neutered and kept indoors. They thrive best with daily exercise, affection and companionship.

If you are seeking a loving pet companion who will give you years of love and attention please consider adopting a rabbit from Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue or one of the many rabbit rescue organizations across the US. You can also help by donating your time or money to Brambley Hedge. Donations are vital to their success and are always appreciated. You can mail a contribution or donate through PayPal. Their PayPal ID is brambleyhedge@cox.net. For more information please see www.bhrabbitrescue.org.

You can also help Brambley Hedge and many other charitable organizations by registering with www.escrip.com, Cash for Critters and GoodSearch.com. Cash for Critters provides funds to animal rescue organizations by donating empty ink and laser printer cartridges. For more information please see http://www.bhrabbitrescue.org/links/fundraise.htm. GoodSearch.com is a search engine that uses Yahoo results and donates funds for each search you do. These are just a few ways to help without it costing time or money!
